Literacy Lift-Off (Lift-Off) is a literacy intervention program designed to support children in their early literacy development.

We use it in our senior Infant classrooms. It involves intensive support in reading and writing for a period of time, typically 6-8 weeks, with a focus on developing specific skills and strategies.

The program usually takes place in schools and is often implemented with small groups of students who have similar literacy needs.

During Literacy Lift-Off, students engage in a range of activities such as guided reading, word work, and writing tasks.

The program aims to improve students’ reading fluency, comprehension, vocabulary, and writing skills through targeted instruction and practice.
