Lámh is a manual sign system used by children and adults with intellectual disability and communication needs in Ireland to support communication.

We have staff members who are trained in Lámh and use it daily with some pupils.

There are over 500 signs; speech is always used with signs and only key words in a sentence are signed.

Lámh is intended to encourage eye contact, develop vocabulary, promote attention to movement, and relieve frustration.
